Business Accessibility Tool Kit (BAT)
Business Accessibility Toolkit (BAT)
Launched in 2020, our Business Accessibility Toolkit (BAT) is a groundbreaking Microenterprise Business to Business mentoring program that delivers critically needed business modernization assistance to existing small businesses owned by historically underserved people who often speak languages other than English.
BAT clients are microenterprise-level small business owners who own brick and mortar businesses in RPBA’s service area. BAT clients state they either do not know how to or are hesitant to access resources that would make their business more resilient and successful.
BAT consultants provide qualifying clients no-cost, hands-on technical assistance in the language the business owner is most comfortable using. BAT’s consultants are professional experts in the areas of accounting, bookkeeping, financial literacy, financial coaching, access to capital, legal assistance, marketing, branding, website development, technology, social media, retailing, e-commerce, restaurant development, printing, production and more.
BAT consultants are all independently owned businesses themselves, so both the client and the consultant benefit from the BAT program. The client receives much-needed business modernization and the consultant’s business benefits from increases in revenue, experience and testimonials from satisfied clients.
